BTS unveils Rolling Stone pictorial... Foresees the future with 'Arirang' and dreams of the Super Bowl stage

BTS revealed a photo shoot and interview through Rolling Stone magazine.

In this photo shoot, the members created a free-spirited atmosphere using black-and-white and denim outfits. They showed a more mature side with deepened gazes and relaxed poses.

In the interview, they reflected on the team's hiatus and spoke about the struggles and growth leading up to their reunion as a complete group. RM explained that the 14 tracks included in the new album "Arirang" would be the answer to the question, "What will BTS be in 2026?" He added, "If we stop challenging ourselves, there is no reason to continue the team," expressing his determination for musical experimentation.

The members emphasized the preciousness and bond of being back together as a team. Suga shared his wish to focus less on achievements and more on taking care of each other's health while enjoying their activities. Jungkook revealed that during the hiatus, he had a strong desire to be on stage.

They also mentioned behind-the-scenes stories related to Jungkook's canceled Super Bowl halftime show. When the host asked about the Super Bowl halftime show, the members responded, "They have to call us for us to go," "It's a dream stage. We will work hard and overcome whatever comes our way," and "We will look for an opportunity someday." When the host asked Jungkook if his expression had changed, he said, "I want to do it, but they have to call me for it to happen."

RM revealed, "(Jungkook) almost went to the Super Bowl. Usher invited him before he enlisted." There were foreign media reports that Jungkook could have been the first K-pop artist to perform at the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show but missed the opportunity due to military service. RM said, "It didn't happen because he had to enlist. Whether officially or unofficially, that stage is the greatest event and show stage in the world," referring to Bad Bunny's performance. BTS shared that they dream of having the chance to perform on the Super Bowl stage someday.
