The group DKZ will conclude their team activities and pursue individual activities by each member.

Dongyo Entertainment announced on April 15 through an official statement that DKZ's group activities will end after completing their scheduled plans until May 31, 2026. The agency stated, "Sehyun, Mingyu, Jaechan, Juwon, and Giseok will meet fans through individual activities starting June 2026." Jaechan and Juwon have renewed their contracts with the agency and will continue to work in various fields, while Sehyun, Mingyu, and Giseok will also begin new activities as affiliated artists.

DKZ debuted in 2019 under the name "Dongkiz" and continued their activities after changing the team name. Member Jaechan increased the team's recognition through the Watcha series "Semantic Error." The agency expressed, "We deeply appreciate the precious efforts and time of the members who have led the team more brilliantly than anyone over the past seven years—Jaechan and Juwon, and Sehyun, Mingyu, and Giseok, who joined in 2022 and became a strong support alongside us." They also conveyed their gratitude to the fans, saying, "We would like to once again thank all the Dongari members who accompanied us on that brilliant journey."

The agency stated that they will continue to provide full support for the activities of the five members moving forward.
