Jung Hoon Choi expresses pride in 'Group Sound' and his commitment to live performances on 'Cultwo Show'... Yoon Do Hyun thanks for the unedited stage

Choi Jung-hoon, the vocalist of Jannabi, revealed his thoughts on live performances. On the 14th, Choi Jung-hoon and Kim Do-hyung of Jannabi appeared as guests on SBS PowerFM's 'Escape at 2PM Cultwo Show.'

Choi Jung-hoon explained why he introduces Jannabi not as a 'band' but as a 'group sound,' saying, "It originally started as a joke. It was fun. It seems to have become our identity." On that day, Jannabi performed their hit songs live on the broadcast.

Yoon Do-hyun, the vocalist of YB who joined as a special DJ, gave a positive evaluation of Jannabi's live performance, saying, "These days, there is a lot of post-editing, but the fact that they still perform live is first of all thankful and shows confidence." Choi Jung-hoon showed concern, saying, "If you say that before the live performance," but humbly responded, "I think bands are like that. When performing live, there should naturally be no post-editing. That doesn't mean the live performance is good, though." Yoon Do-hyun mentioned the charm of unedited live performances, saying, "Having no post-editing is much more vivid and better. What if the tuning is a little off?" Choi Jung-hoon added, "It's good to share warmth by performing live together in the same space."

Meanwhile, Choi Jung-hoon shared an update on former member Yoo Young-hyun, who left the team earlier this year due to a 2019 school violence controversy. He revealed that Yoo Young-hyun reconciled with the victim. According to Choi Jung-hoon, Yoo Young-hyun approached the main perpetrators at the time, obtained handwritten apology letters, and delivered them along with a letter he wrote himself to the victim, who accepted them.

Jannabi is a duo band that debuted in 2014 with the digital single album 'Rocket.' Since then, they have released various songs such as 'The Hot Summer Night Is Over, What Remains Is Unsightly,' 'She,' 'For Hesitant Lovers,' 'Did We Love? Was It a Passing Relationship? The Not-So-Short Time We Spent Together Keeps Locking Up My Heart,' and 'Together!' gaining love from all age groups.
