IU revealed the reason why they personally purchase tickets to attend concerts of fellow artists.

In the web variety show "Salon Drip 2," the lead actors of the drama "21st Century Great Lady," IU, Byun Woo-seok, Noh Sang-hyun, and Gong Seung-yeon, appeared and shared various stories. During the broadcast, an anecdote involving TWICE Jungyeon was mentioned. Gong Seung-yeon revealed that her younger sister Jungyeon is a fan of IU and shared that IU secretly came to watch the TWICE concert. It was also disclosed that Jungyeon sent a direct message to IU to give an invitation ticket, but IU did not see it at the time. IU said, "I like TWICE so much that I went to the concert," and later checked the DM through Gong Seung-yeon and expressed gratitude.

Regarding why IU buys tickets with their own money instead of using invitation tickets when attending performances, they explained, "From the perspective of a performer, watching other artists' stages itself is a great learning experience."
