
Cha Ju-young showcased a new acting transformation by playing the role of Lee Yang-mi in ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama "Climax."
In this work, Cha Ju-young portrayed Lee Yang-mi, a key figure in the WR Group, embodying the role of a political and business connection. In the drama, Lee Yang-mi is a character who hides a sharp edge behind an elegant smile, and Cha Ju-young displayed a strong presence from her first appearance. She enhanced the immersion of the story by showing well-timed variations in confrontations with main characters such as Bang Tae-seop (played by Joo Ji-hoon) and Chu Sang-ah (played by Ha Ji-won). Additionally, in scenes with Kwon Se-myung (played by Kim Hong-pa), she delivered emotional acting that oscillated between fear and ambition, and her interactions with Kwon Jong-wook (played by Oh Jung-se) provided comedic moments that lightened the atmosphere of the drama.
Cha Ju-young added tension to the narrative with her acting that varied in intensity depending on the situation, breathing life into the character through detailed expressions such as tone of voice, eye contact, and gestures.
