Stray Kids' 'Chk Chk Boom' certified gold in France... First 4th generation boy group to achieve this record

Stray Kids has received a single gold certification from the French Recording Industry Association (SNEP).

The French Recording Industry Association announced on its official website that Stray Kids' mini-album "ATE" title track "Chk Chk Boom" has achieved 15 million streams in France, earning a single gold certification. The song was released on July 19, 2024, marking Stray Kids' first single gold certification.

Founded in 1922, the French Recording Industry Association awards certifications based on album and single sales, streaming, and download conversion figures. Stray Kids previously received gold certifications for four albums, each selling over 50,000 units: the full-length album "★★★★★ (5-STAR)," mini-albums "樂-STAR (LOVESTAR)" and "ATE," and the SKZHOP HIPTAPE "合 (HOP)."

This single gold certification is a record as the first achieved by a 4th generation boy group and the second case among K-pop boy groups.

Stray Kids continue their global activities. They are scheduled to headline the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York in June and Rock in Rio in Brazil in September. Additionally, they were nominated for the "Best Male K-pop Artist" category at the 2026 American Music Awards held in May, marking their second consecutive year as nominees.
