Drama writer Im Seong-han (pen name Phoebe) was scheduled to appear live for the first time in 36 years since her debut, but during the actual broadcast, she only appeared by voice through a phone connection, drawing attention.

Im Seong-han was announced as a special guest on the live broadcast held at 7:45 PM on the 17th on comedy creator Eom Eun-hyang's YouTube channel. Eom Eun-hyang raised expectations by announcing Im Seong-han's appearance through prior promotion and posted on her SNS, "Writer Im Seong-han contacted me. I will reveal all the behind-the-scenes on the live." Eom Eun-hyang has created various content parodying Im Seong-han's works and has openly expressed being a fan of Im Seong-han.

On the day of the broadcast, Eom Eun-hyang, who recently underwent surgery for a hemangioma, proceeded with the live broadcast. She said, "My favorite writers are Im Seong-han and Kim Soo-hyun. Among Im Seong-han's works, I like 'Mermaid' and 'New Tales of Gisaeng' the most." The live broadcast started at the scheduled time, but Im Seong-han did not appear for over an hour. Eom Eun-hyang passed the time by making miljeonbyeong (thin pancakes) frequently featured in Im Seong-han's works, and during the broadcast, Im Seong-han appeared only by voice through a phone connection.

During the phone call, Im Seong-han answered questions related to themes appearing in her works such as miljeonbyeong and shamanism, and explained various curiosities including the endings of 'Mermaid' and 'Love (Marriage) Lyrics Divorce Composition 3.' Viewers watching the live broadcast had hoped to see Im Seong-han in person but expressed disappointment as she only appeared by voice. Eom Eun-hyang apologized to viewers, saying, "To reach 1 million subscribers on YouTube, you have to stir up some attention. I apologize."

Im Seong-han debuted in 1990 with KBS2's 'Standing in the Maze' and wrote many popular dramas such as 'See and See Again,' 'Mermaid,' 'Oh My God,' 'Temptation of Wife,' 'New Tales of Gisaeng,' 'Apgujeong Midnight Sun,' and 'Princess Aurora.' Although she once announced her retirement, she later returned under the pen name Phoebe with works like 'Love (Marriage) Lyrics Divorce Composition' and 'Lady Durian,' and is currently active through TV Chosun's weekend drama 'Doctor Shin.'
