The group UNCHILD attracted attention ahead of their debut by conducting exhibition-style performances and unique street promotions throughout Seoul.
On the 18th, UNCHILD presented an exhibition-style performance titled "We Are UNCHILD – UNSCHOOL" at a park in Sangam-dong. Members Park Ye-eun, Hiki, Tina, Ako, Yvonne, and Na Ha-eun recreated a classroom setting where they cut off communication with the outside world and only responded to each other, visually expressing the group's identity and message.
After the performance, UNCHILD took time to communicate directly with citizens and fans who visited the site, expressing their gratitude. A "Listening Zone" was set up where visitors could preview the debut title track, drawing considerable interest.
On the same day, a street promotion featuring UNCHILD's symbol, the green tree frog, was held simultaneously. Starting in Sangam and moving through major areas of Seoul such as Hongdae, Yeouido, and Seongsu, green tree frogs holding signs that read "Do you know UNCHILD?" moved among the crowds to deliver the message. This unusual scene piqued the curiosity of the public.
This project was designed as an attempt to expand UNCHILD's identity, which originates from the prefix "UN-," aiming to convey the team's energy in a free and unconventional way beyond fixed frameworks.
UNCHILD's debut single "We Are UNCHILD" will be released on the 21st at 6 PM through various online music platforms.
