KATSEYE successfully completed their second week performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival held in Indio, California, USA. On the 17th (local time), they performed 11 songs for about 45 minutes on the Sahara Stage, receiving cheers from an audience of approximately 60,000. Following their first week performance, KATSEYE took the Coachella stage for the second time, delivering a variety of songs including the new track "PINKY UP," "Internet Girl," "Gabriela," and "Gnarly." Their music and performance, spanning genres such as Latin pop and hyperpop, along with stable vocals, led the audience in a sing-along.
In particular, the "GOLDEN" stage with members of the virtual girl group HUNTR/X was highlighted as the highlight of this Coachella performance. The live video of "PINKY UP" released on Coachella's official channel surpassed 6.3 million views shortly after its release, and KATSEYE's major SNS followers increased by more than 580,000 before and after the performance, reaching a total of 47.04 million.
Coachella described KATSEYE's stage as an "incredibly amazing performance." Billboard in the U.S. called it a "Bonkers" stage, and People referred to it as "Girl Group Greatness." The new song "PINKY UP" ranked high on major charts such as the UK Official Singles Top 100 and the U.S. Spotify Weekly Top Songs.
After Coachella, KATSEYE is scheduled to appear consecutively on major North American festival stages including the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York in June, the Hinterland Music Festival in July, and Head in the Clouds in August.
