Actress Lee Joo-yeon attracted attention by mentioning her past popularity and dating rumors.

Lee Joo-yeon, who appeared on MBC's variety show "The Manager," recalled the time when she was known as one of the "Top 5 Internet Ulzzangs" during her high school years. She explained her debut by saying, "All the people from every agency in front of the school were there. I started as a magazine model. At some point, I found myself dancing. It must have been fate." When asked if she received many advances during her After School activities, she replied, "The stylists told me. Regarding the reason for her breakup with her partner, Lee Joo-yeon revealed, "I tend to get tired of the other person easily. Also, I feel comfortable being with my family because I think I have to dress up beautifully every day."

The two were first caught up in dating rumors in 2017 when a video on a mobile phone application was shared on SNS, followed by additional suspicions such as traveling together. In response, G-Dragon's side officially stated in June last year that "the dating rumors are groundless."

Additionally, Lee Joo-yeon was rumored to be dating actor So Ji-sub in 2013. At that time, reports said the two met through MBLAQ's G.O, but So Ji-sub's side clarified, "It is true that we all met comfortably through G.O's introduction, but we are just good senior and junior colleagues, not in a romantic relationship," ending the matter as a misunderstanding.
