Jo Hyun-ah appeared on the YouTube channel 'Heartwarming Hyung Shin Dong-yup' and mentioned her friendship with Suzy.

In the released video, Shin Dong-yup told Jo Hyun-ah that Suzy stayed with her for three days during her mother's funeral. In response, Jo Hyun-ah explained her mother's illness and the funeral preparations, revealing that Suzy attended from the first day of the funeral and stayed for three days. Jo Hyun-ah shared, "The funeral started early the next morning, and Suzy came to pay her respects and ate four packs of dried squid over the three days. She just sat in one place tearing the squid. People came and recognized her as 'Suzy,' but she kept asking for more squid."

Jo Hyun-ah also said that Suzy accompanied her to the crematorium and the burial site, where Suzy greeted her by saying, "I will take good care of your mother, unnie." She added, "She really took care of even the practical things. On the first day, many people came and sweated a lot, but Suzy came and said, 'Unnie, hug me.' After I hugged her, she told me, 'Go wash up.' She's amazing."

Shin Dong-yup mentioned his experience co-hosting the Baeksang Arts Awards with Suzy and commented on her personality, saying, "She's very easygoing and cool." He also said he was surprised to hear about Suzy's actions at the funeral.
