Singer Solbi revealed her experience of a traffic accident she went through in middle school on her YouTube channel.

Solbi uploaded a video titled "Hit by a car but survived...? Solbi's shocking true story revealed for the first time" on her YouTube channel. In the video, Solbi mentioned a conversation she had with actor Song Yi-woo during a live broadcast about the "near-death experiences" she discussed with her middle school friends. At that time, she answered her friend's question by saying she had never faced a near-death experience, but soon after, she recalled going through an accident.

Solbi explained that she collided with a vehicle while running across a crosswalk when the signal changed. She said the impact of the accident caused her to lose consciousness and her body was thrown into the air. She added that a nearby student who witnessed the accident was so shocked that they fainted, and Solbi fell on top of that student, which helped her avoid serious injury.

She said that because the accident happened on April Fool's Day, people around her initially did not believe it was true. She also recalled hearing in the emergency room that she had "overcome a near-death experience." The driver who caused the accident was intoxicated, and Solbi emphasized, "Drunk driving should never be done."
