Broadcaster Kim So-young directly mentioned her husband Oh Sang-jin's blunt personality.

On the 20th, Kim So-young shared a recent video of Oh Sang-jin taking care of their son through her Instagram story. She wrote, "Since the house and postpartum care center are quite far apart, I told him he didn't have to come today, but I clearly showed that I was a bit lonely and bored," adding, "He said he wouldn't come and hung up, but suddenly appeared a few hours later as a surprise." She continued, "But when he showed up, instead of saying 'Ta-da, I came because I missed you,' he just said 'Ah, I'm tired' and didn't say anything else."

Recently, a comment criticizing Oh Sang-jin's attitude, such as "Why is Sang-jin so prickly with So-young?" was posted on Kim So-young's YouTube channel 'Kim So-young's Ddingri TV.' In response, Kim So-young explained Oh Sang-jin's usual demeanor, saying, "There have been many comments lately on YouTube saying he's blunt. He took full care of Sua (their daughter) for two days, did broadcasts, went back and forth to the postpartum care center, worked hard as always, but he's the head of our household who doesn't know how to give lip service." She also added, "Today, I thought he's truly a unique person."

Oh Sang-jin and Kim So-young welcomed their second son around 4 p.m. on the 3rd. Their agency stated, "Both the mother and baby are healthy," and asked for lots of support for the couple as they welcome their new family member. The couple married in 2017 and had their first daughter in 2019.

Oh Sang-jin debuted as an MBC announcer in 2005 and has been working as a freelance broadcaster since leaving in 2013. Kim So-young joined MBC in 2012 and left in 2017; since then, she has been active as an entrepreneur in various fields, including running a bookstore and live commerce.
