Along with group activities, Choi
Byung-chan of boy band VICTON is proving the unabated topic of conversation as
he continues his personal activities.
The agency PlayM Entertainment said on
August 27 that VICTON Choi Byung-chan will hold a global fan meeting "Be
Shining: Chan" on September 28 at ATT SHOWBOX in Taiwan.
The agency said, "Thanks to the
enthusiastic support of many of you, Choi Byung-chan met his fans at home
through a group fan meeting of the group VICTON, and met with global fans
overseas. The party will make efforts to prepare various opportunities for the
members of VICTON, including Choi Byung-chan, to meet fans at home and abroad.”
Debuting in 2016 with the group VICTON, Choi
Byung-chan received great love by returning as a trainee with Han Seung-woo to
challenge for "Produce X101," but he was sadly dropped out at the end
of the show due to the severe pain of chronic Achilles tendonitis. Choi
Byung-chan, who has been a hot topic of conversation even after "Produce
X101," reported that his health has improved recently, signaling the
resumption of his career.
The group VICTON, which includes Choi
Byung-chan, has also received much attention and started its career. The
youngest, Jung Soo-bin, has confirmed his appearance in the new playlist's
production of mega-hit Web drama "Athene," and VICTON has announced
that she will hold a local fan meeting "VOICE TO ALICE" on Sept. 22.
After Han Seung-woo was selected for X1 (the final debut group of "Produce X101) he drew
attention as the first official move by six players—Choi Byung-chan, Kang
Seung-sik, Lim Se-jun, Heo Chan, Do Han-se and Jung Su-bin.
While news of Choi Byung-chan's global fan
meeting has been reported in succession, expectations are being raised on
whether or not VICTON will make another leap forward.
