TWS member Dohun recently shared his thoughts on playing the role of a flower shop owner. On April 21, while communicating with fans through the global platform Weverse, Dohun responded to a fan's message saying, "The flower shop owner leaves work at 3 o'clock," with "That's why that person lives comfortably." This conversation took place against the backdrop of a short-form video released on April 19 by the official TWS account.
TWS is conducting a promotion with the concept of the 'TWS Fate Manipulation Agency (Star-Crushing Agency)' ahead of their comeback on April 27. The members transformed into a fictional organization that changes clients' destinies in various areas such as love, academics, money, employment, and relationships. Dohun took on the role of a flower shop owner selling lucky bouquets in this promotion.
The 'MZ flower shop owner born in '05' portrayed by Dohun arrived at work at 10 a.m., washed his hands within 25 minutes, and checked the flowers of the day at 10:53 a.m. At 11:08 a.m., Dohun began preparing for work, stating that he would make bouquets with flowers symbolizing good luck. He arranged flowers in disposable cups, completing a total of six small bouquets. Afterwards, he took commemorative photos in front of a mirror, finished cleaning up at 2:30 p.m., and left work at 4 p.m. The total working hours were five hours.
After the video was released, one netizen joked, "He probably earns 30,000 won a day from flowers and 30 million won a month from flower shop vlogs and sponsorships." Some netizens who misunderstood Dohun as a wealthy flower shop owner reacted with comments like, "I was angry at first but then calmed down when I heard he's an idol who caused a fuss with a tantrum," and "I almost got mad thinking it was true."
Meanwhile, TWS, to which Dohun belongs, is set to release their fifth mini-album NO TRAGEDY at 6 p.m. on the 27th. This album sings about a straightforward romance that fights for love without yielding to fate. Dohun participated as a lyricist for the title track "You, You," following his lyric writing for "I'll Be Your Tomorrow" from the previous mini-album play hard. This is his first time contributing lyrics to a title track since debut.
TWS sparked the 'tantrum boom' with the title track OVERDRIVE from their fourth mini-album released last October, and as of the 17th, pre-orders for the fifth mini-album have reached 1,022,807 copies. They are on the verge of becoming first-time million sellers within two years of debut. Dohun recently mentioned the goal of achieving million-seller status in their own content.
