IU conveyed affectionate messages and gifts to the couple Lee Hyori and Lee Sangsoon through the YouTube channel 'Idol Radio Universe.'

In the video released on the 21st, IU appeared as a guest on MBC FM4U's 'Perfect Day Lee Sangsoon' and visited the radio booth. During the broadcast, IU mentioned Lee Hyori while handing over a gift, saying, "Eat this with unnie, yakgwa," and Lee Sangsoon warmly welcomed IU, greeting, "Oh, long time no see." When Lee Sangsoon asked, "Do you still eat sweet things?" IU nodded, and a scene of Lee Sangsoon giving chocolate as a gift was also shown.

Lee Sangsoon spoke about his connection with IU on the show, saying, "I occasionally talked on the phone with IU, but we were both too busy to see each other often. I'm glad to meet again through this opportunity." IU also stated, "When I came here, I decided to appear without a second thought because I thought I could finally see the boss (Lee Sangsoon)."

The two first connected in 2017 as boss and part-time worker on JTBC variety show 'Hyori's Homestay.' After the show, sightings of IU with Lee Hyori and Lee Sangsoon were rare, leading to rumors of discord.
