I.O.I announced their comeback by releasing the mood film for their third mini-album, 'I.O.I : LOOP.'

At midnight on the 22nd, I.O.I (Lim Nayoung, Chungha, Kim Sejeong, Jung Chaeyeon, Kim Sohye, Yoo Yeonjung, Choi Yoojung, Kim Doyeon, Jeon Somi) showcased the mood film video for their new album on their official SNS. In the video, the members expressed their individuality with colorful outfits and a vintage atmosphere, showing a distinctive presence despite the short length. At the end of the video, the release date of May 19 at 6 PM and the members' English names appeared in sequence.

I.O.I is a project group formed through public voting on Mnet's 'Produce 101' in 2016, and they received much love as the "Nation's Girl Group" right after their debut. Marking their 10th debut anniversary this year, they announced their reunion after 9 years. On the 21st, they released a promotion scheduler and confirmed the new album release date as May 19.

Additionally, I.O.I will hold the '2026 I.O.I Concert Tour: LOOP' alongside the release of their first new album in 9 years. The concert tour will begin with a three-day Seoul performance starting May 29, followed by shows in major Asian cities including Bangkok on June 6 and Hong Kong on June 20 and 21.

I.O.I's third mini-album, 'I.O.I : LOOP,' will be released on May 19 at 6 PM through various online music platforms, with a pre-release track coming out on May 4.
