Boy group &TEAM (&TEAM) has achieved a three consecutive million-seller streak with their new release 'We on Fire.'
According to Hanteo Chart, &TEAM (Euju, Huma, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, Maki)'s third Japanese mini-album 'We on Fire' sold 1,090,261 copies on its release day, the 21st, topping the daily album chart. With this, &TEAM has surpassed one million sales for three consecutive works, following their third Japanese single 'Go in Blind' in August last year and their first Korean mini-album 'Back to Life' in October.
&TEAM has been recorded as the first Japanese artist to achieve million-seller status in both Korea and Japan. 'Back to Life' entered the Billboard and the French music association's comprehensive music charts for the first time, attracting attention from major foreign media at the time. Forbes USA evaluated, "&TEAM has established itself as the most notable group right now. They have added new meaning to the definition of K-pop."
On the 21st, a fan showcase was held at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. At the event, &TEAM presented various stages including the title track 'We on Fire,' the Korean version of the track 'Bewitched,' and 'Sakura Iro Yell.' The members demonstrated strengthened teamwork and stage presence.
Along with promotions for the new release, &TEAM plans to hold a concert tour 'BLAZE THE WAY' in 11 cities across Asia. The Korean concerts of the tour will take place at Inspire Arena in Incheon from July 4 to 5. This marks their return to a larger venue about a year after their concert at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul in June last year.
