NCT WISH's first full-length album 'Ode to Love' becomes a million-seller in just one day... sets a new record by topping Melon HOT100

NCT WISH has released their first full-length album, "Ode to Love," and begun music show promotions.

The full album was released on the 20th, and the title track "Ode to Love" set new personal records, ranking 3rd on Melon TOP100, 1st on HOT100, 28th on Melon daily chart, and 3rd on Apple Music Korea TOP100. The album became their third million-seller overall within just one day of release. It also topped the Chinese QQ Music Korean music video chart, received "Triple Gold" certification, ranked 1st on the digital album sales chart, 1st on the integrated K-pop chart across five Tencent Music platforms, 2nd on Kugou Music digital album sales chart, 1st on Japan's Line Music daily album ranking, and 1st on AWA real-time rising chart.

The title track "Ode to Love" is a dance-pop song based on new UK garage, featuring refreshing rhythms and wistful melodies. The lyrics express a determination to color reality with kindness, as in the line "Life is bitter, But we're getting sweeter." The choreography includes a signature move matching the "doo-doo-ru-doo" lyrics.

The music video borrows from the myths of Eros and Anteros to tell a story about "genuine feelings touching each other." It begins with a scene of faces peeking through holes in a miniature house while shouting "doo-doo-ru-doo," followed by the appearance of a baby angel and members swimming through a forest where reality and fantasy blend, wearing Cupid's wings. There is also a scene where members reading a fairy tale book in the forest look down at the miniature house through a hole in the sky. Under a night sky sprinkled with stardust, the members make wishes and shoot arrows, ending with a scene where an arrow is stuck in Sion's chest as he looks at a star taken from a mobile.

NCT WISH is scheduled to perform the title track on music programs starting with Mnet's "M Countdown" on the 23rd, followed by KBS2's "Music Bank" on the 24th, MBC's "Show! Music Core" on the 25th, and SBS's "Inkigayo ON THE GO" on the 26th.
