2PM member and actor Ok Taec-yeon will hold a private wedding ceremony with his non-celebrity partner on the 24th at the Shilla Hotel Yeongbingwan in Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul. Only family members from both sides and close acquaintances will attend the wedding, with 2PM members performing the congratulatory songs and Hwang Chan-sung acting as the master of ceremonies.

Ok Taec-yeon and Hwang Chan-sung have been close since their trainee days at JYP Entertainment, debuting as 2PM in 2008 and balancing team and individual activities for a long time. Hwang Chan-sung, who got married in 2022 and is the only married member of the team, will serve as the MC for this wedding, showing their special friendship.

2PM members Lee Junho, Jun. K, Nichkhun, Jang Wooyoung, and Hwang Chan-sung will all attend Ok Taec-yeon's wedding and perform congratulatory songs. Ok Taec-yeon previously mentioned in a magazine interview that he wished for 2PM members to sing at his wedding.

The Shilla Hotel Yeongbingwan is a wedding venue chosen by business and political figures as well as many top stars. It is known as a private wedding location because it offers outdoor weddings with a traditional Korean house (hanok) as the backdrop.

Ok Taec-yeon acknowledged dating a non-celebrity four years his junior in 2020, and last February, photos of his proposal in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, were revealed, announcing the marriage. In November of the same year, he personally shared on SNS, "I promised to spend my life with someone who has trusted me for a long time. We will be a strong presence for each other and walk through life together," announcing the wedding news. Later, on December 31 of last year, he expressed gratitude to his fiancée while receiving the Excellence Award at the 2025 KBS Drama Awards.

2PM members are currently preparing for their full-group concert at Tokyo Dome in May at the JYP Entertainment practice room. This concert celebrates their 15th anniversary since debuting in Japan and marks their first full-group stage at Tokyo Dome in about 10 years since 2016.

Ok Taec-yeon plans to continue various activities after his wedding, including the 2PM Tokyo Dome concert and the Netflix series Soulmate.
