KBS 2TV music talk show "The Seasons - Sung Si-kyung's Eardrum Boyfriend" captured viewers' attention on the broadcast on the 24th with performances by various artists including Gummy, Seventeen Seungkwan, Ha Hyun-sang, Forestella, and Ahn Shin-ae.
On this day's broadcast, Forestella revealed that with Go Woo-rim's discharge last year, all members have completed their military service. They are called "Sons of KBS," and their performance video of "Despacito" ranks first on the KBS YouTube channel, currently surpassing 30 million views. Forestella expressed, "We are honored to have such a record thanks to the love from many people." They also disclosed that recording the 12 tracks of their full-length album, released after five years, took 975 hours. Sung Si-kyung said, "For a vocal group like Forestella, where each member is responsible for their own part, it must have been even harder," adding, "They are doing an amazing job."
Gummy opened the stage with "You Are My Everything" and spontaneously performed a duet with Sung Si-kyung, eliciting a warm response from the audience. Gummy expressed regret, saying, "I actually never had a chance to perform a duet with Sung Si-kyung before." Then Seventeen Seungkwan joined to perform the new song "Like Spring, You" with Gummy. Seungkwan said, "To me, Gummy is like spring," adding, "I think I will keep thinking of her in spring from now on." Seungkwan showed a friendly attitude toward Gummy and a respectful demeanor toward Sung Si-kyung, which brought laughter.
Ha Hyun-sang appeared with the stage "Odyssey," showcasing his unique high-pitched voice, and performed a dance duo with Seungkwan to Seventeen's hit song "Son Ogong." Seungkwan shared an episode about dance practice, saying, "We even had a 20-minute lesson, but my other foot went out first anyway." Sung Si-kyung told Ha Hyun-sang, "I'm so relieved that you are good at music."
Ahn Shin-ae appeared as the fifth guest in the duet corner "Two People," emotionally reinterpreting the late Yoo Jae-ha's "You Are in My Arms" with Sung Si-kyung. Ahn Shin-ae explained the reason for the song choice, saying, "I thought it would be good as a male-female duet song at the end of spring." Before her debut, Ahn Shin-ae was famous as a chorus singer in the music industry and performed live choruses of songs she participated in, such as Park Hwayobi's "How About It" and Baek Ji-young's "Candy in My Ear." Sung Si-kyung empathized, saying, "'The Way to Me' had Kim Jo-han on chorus. The chorus has to be delicious." Recently, she remade Kim Gun-mo's "Lonely Love" using only her voice without instruments for the stage.
"The Seasons - Sung Si-kyung's Eardrum Boyfriend" airs every Friday night at 11:10 PM on KBS 2TV.
