Trot singer Kim Yong Bin showed tears while visiting his grandmother's grave on KBS 2TV's "New Product Launch Pyeonstorang."

Kim Yong Bin visited his hometown Daegu during a rare day off amid a busy schedule. Walking through the streets filled with childhood memories with his grandmother, he recalled the past. Kim Yong Bin grew up surrounded by the love of his grandmother and aunt, and revealed that his grandmother was like a mother, friend, and manager to him. He reminisced, "My grandmother was my mother, friend, and manager."

Kim Yong Bin's grandmother passed away from pancreatic cancer six months before he won first place in a trot competition program. Kim Yong Bin said, "My grandmother died of pancreatic cancer. She passed away before seeing me win first place (in the trot competition). Watching her suffer was the hardest time in my life." He also recalled the moment she passed away, saying, "I took a train right away because she seemed like she was going to pass. She held on until she heard my voice, then immediately passed away."

On the show, Kim Yong Bin cooked the dishes his grandmother often made when she was alive. His aunt gave him detailed instructions on his grandmother's recipes, and Kim Yong Bin carefully completed the cooking. Tasting his own food, he even said, "I'm good at cooking?!" Chef Lee Yeon-bok praised Kim Yong Bin's cooking skills, saying, "I was worried, but you cook well."

Kim Yong Bin brought the lunchbox he made himself and visited his grandmother's grave. In front of the grave, he spoke to her, saying, "Sorry I couldn't come sooner. Are you doing well? I'm busy living day by day. Please continue to watch over me. Always stay by my side. I miss you so much." He then sang a song his grandmother liked when she was alive, leaving a deep impression on the cast of "Pyeonstorang."
