
Tomorrow X Together (TXT)(TXT) ranked 3rd on the US Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200' (May 2 issue) with their 8th mini-album '7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stopped for a Moment in the Thornbush'. This album recorded a total of 69,000 album units, including 67,000 physical and digital sales and 2,000 SEA units.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks albums by combining physical album and digital album sales, SEA (streaming equivalent albums) converted from streaming counts, and TEA (track equivalent albums) converted from digital track downloads. On this chart, American country singers Ella Langley's 'Dandelion' and Morgan Wallen's 'I'm the Problem' took 1st and 2nd place respectively. BTS's 5th full-length album 'ARIRANG' ranked 4th, recording 62,000 album units, a 21% decrease from the previous week.
Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has placed a total of 13 works on the 'Billboard 200', including 10 Korean albums and 3 Japanese albums, including this new release. '7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stopped for a Moment in the Thornbush' consists of songs that honestly express the emotions and thoughts the five members have felt during their seven years since debut. Their agency Big Hit Music stated, "Songs blending universal emotions such as anxiety and emptiness with experimental sounds are receiving favorable reviews from global listeners."
BTS held the first concert of their North American world tour on the 25th at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, USA. This tour will take place over 31 shows in 12 cities including Mexico City, Las Vegas, and Chicago. Performances in Tampa are scheduled for the 25th, 26th, and 28th, and concerts at El Paso Sun Bowl Stadium are planned for May 2nd and 3rd. BTS is the first Korean artist to hold a solo concert at this stadium.
Since their comeback, Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has been actively promoting by appearing on various music broadcast programs. Their new album's title track 'Stick With You' won first place on MBC M·MBC every1's 'Show! Champion', Mnet's 'M Countdown', KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank', MBC's 'Show! Music Core', and SBS's 'Inkigayo On The Go', achieving five crowns.
