QWER (Chodan, Magenta, Hina, Siyeon) revealed their first-place pledge to celebrate the release of their 4th mini album 'CEREMONY.'
At the comeback showcase held on the 27th at Yes24 Wonder Rock Hall in Sinchon, Seoul, QWER shared about their new album, title track, and their determination moving forward. The 4th mini album 'CEREMONY' will be released at 6 PM on major music platforms.
Siyeon stated, "After going through ups and downs in the previous chapter, we want to show a solemn determination as we form a bond of brotherhood in this chapter." Hina said, "We want to shed our naive image and boldly move forward as a team no matter what world we face." Magenta defined this chapter as 'Ignition,' and Chodan described it as 'Sprint.'
QWER said, "We hope to celebrate with everyone and that our songs will be sung at every celebration. We also want to show our own ceremony by winning first place on music shows," adding, "If we top the music charts, we want to hold a surprise celebration event by receiving stories from fans."
The title track 'CEREMONY' carries the meaning of a pledge and celebration to live true to oneself, breaking free from the world's constraints. It is a song that blends QWER's unique bright band sound with a positive message.
The music video depicts the QWER members struggling to return to their own worlds after being dropped into a space disconnected from reality.
This album includes a total of five songs: 'BAD HABIT,' which ignores others' gazes; 'Bunny Bunny,' affectionately expressing love for someone with the nickname 'Bunny'; 'Our Voyage,' singing hope for a shining tomorrow together; and 'PIONEER,' containing confidence toward a new chapter.
'CEREMONY' marks the end of the first chapter that QWER continued from their debut single 'Harmony from Discord' to their 3rd mini album 'I'm on Your Side, Even If the Whole World Is Discordant,' and announces their leap to the next stage. The album embodies the meaning of 'ceremony' and pledges a journey to find the team's identity and self. All members participated in the songwriting process.
