Comedian couple Choi Yang-rak and Paeng Hyun-sook appeared on tvN STORY's "What's the Point of Leaving It Behind," where Paeng Hyun-sook spoke about Choi Yang-rak's past.

Paeng Hyun-sook revealed that she got married at 24 and has been running restaurants and cafes since she was 25, adding that she still works in the kitchen. She shared that she had failed in business 10 times.

She explained that the appearance fee at the time was 38,000 won, and they were in a situation where they couldn't afford a house. Paeng Hyun-sook said that Choi Yang-rak did not participate in events and that he fought with customers from the very first day. Although the event appearance fee was 20 million won, he returned the money as it was.

Additionally, Paeng Hyun-sook said that during an advertisement shoot for a hula hoop commercial, they had already received 70 million won but spent it all. During the shoot, Choi Yang-rak said, "I'm a top star. Why should I do this? I won't spin it. I won't spin it. Give me the money back," and left the set. Paeng Hyun-sook revealed that she took out a loan and paid all the money back. She said, "That's why a crazy person came out."

Paeng Hyun-sook added, "If you trusted this person, it wouldn't work out. Reality was rock bottom."
