In the BTS "Google Autocomplete Interview" video recently released through the YouTube channel 'WIRED,' the origin and current status of Jimin's representative nickname, "Mochi (Manggaetteok)," were mentioned, drawing attention.

In the video that day, the members reminisced about the early days of their debut when Jimin was often compared to non-living things like "Manggaetteok" or "Rice Cake (Tteok)" thanks to his chubby and cute cheek fat. Later on, he became known as "Mochi," a pronunciation that is also familiar to overseas fans.

Looking at the current Jimin, who boasts a sharp jawline and a toned body after losing his baby fat, the members evaluated, "Since he lost a lot of weight, that (soft) feeling has disappeared a lot." Taking it a step further, they mercilessly described the current Jimin as "a rice cake that got hard from not being eaten for a long time," "a hard mochi," and "an angular mochi rather than a round one," turning the set into a sea of laughter.
