
DKZ member Mingyu completed approximately three months of performances playing the role of Lee Hae-jin in the musical 'Secretly Greatly: THE LAST.'
Mingyu concluded all his performances in this production with the final show of 'Secretly Greatly: THE LAST' held on the 26th at the Noldang Theater Daehangno Grand Theater in Seoul. In this work, Mingyu portrayed Lee Hae-jin, the youngest squad leader of North Korea's 5446 Special Operations Unit and a high school undercover agent who came to South Korea admiring Won Ryoo-hwan.
Mingyu was the second actor to take on the role of Lee Hae-jin after Oh Yeon. Through his agency, he expressed, "I would like to thank the crew who always worked hard behind the scenes and the creative team who made and led the production." He added, "It was a time to relearn and realize what it means to be an actor. I will not forget this lesson and will greet you with a more developed self in the future."
'Secretly Greatly: THE LAST' is an original musical depicting the story of North Korea's 5446 Special Operations Unit agents infiltrating a South Korean neighborhood. Mingyu received praise for his delicate portrayal of the character's inner emotions and his solid vocals in this production.
Previously, Mingyu has been active in various musicals such as 'The Three Musketeers,' '5! Happy Man,' and 'Zorro: Actor Musician.'
