Chaeyeon has begun her comeback activities by releasing her first album under the agency Daydream.
At 6 PM on the 28th, Chaeyeon released her fourth mini-album, "Till I Die," on various online music platforms. This album is a work that expresses the various emotions and inner feelings experienced on stage with Chaeyeon's unique color, containing a growth narrative of facing and overcoming the wounds hidden behind the glamour. Additionally, as the first album released under Daydream, it emphasizes Chaeyeon's evolution and firm identity moving from the "visible me" to the "real me."
The title track, "No Tears On The Dancefloor," is a retro mood new disco dance pop genre song that conveys both wistfulness and overwhelming emotions through cinematic production and an emotional melody line. The song deals with the dual image of a seemingly perfect and glamorous stage protagonist who hides inner wounds and pain while dancing, delivering a message of not letting go of the stage and continuing her dance and song even in moments of shaking and collapse.
The album includes a total of five tracks: the Y2K hip-hop dance song "Know About Me," which showcases stage presence; the electro dance pop "I'm Waiting," which looks forward to the future; the hip-hop dance track "BAD," which moves forward in her own way; and the R&B pop "How Are You," which contains the distance left by the passage of time and the lingering feelings of old relationships.
All tracks from Chaeyeon's fourth mini-album "Till I Die" and the music video for the title track were simultaneously released worldwide at 6 PM on the 28th.
