Kim Shin-young confesses to relapse after 5 years of sobriety and weight loss on 'Problematic Men in the Rooftop Room'... reveals fight with Seolhyun and contact with ex-boyfriend's mother


Kim Shin-young appeared on KBS 2TV variety show "Problematic Men in the Rooftop Room" and shared the reason why she has maintained sobriety for five years, her long-term dating experience, and her recent updates.

Kim Shin-young revealed that it took six weeks for her weight, which she had maintained for 13 years after losing weight from 88kg to 44kg, to return. She emphasized that even while experiencing yo-yo effects, she strictly adheres to her sobriety.

Regarding her decision to quit drinking, Kim Shin-young said, "I quit drinking because my drunken behavior was too severe," and shared an episode with her close younger sister Seolhyun. Kim Shin-young recalled, "I once fought with Seolhyun on the street while drunk," and said that as soon as she sobered up, she hurriedly called Seolhyun to apologize.

Additionally, Kim Shin-young mentioned her experience of a long-term relationship lasting eight years. Although she no longer contacts her ex-boyfriend, she shared that her ex-boyfriend's mother still sends her kimchi. She cited taking good care not only of her boyfriend but also of his parents as the secret to her long-term relationship.
