EXO member Kai mentioned the number of members in the group.

On the April 27 broadcast of SBS's 'No, But Really!' (Ageunjin), a scene aired where Kai talked about EXO's world tour concert. When Lee Sang-min asked, "You're performing with EXO starting in April," Kai replied that it was a world tour concert. When Lee Sang-min said, "We'll be guests then," Kai responded, "Don't expect it," adding, "It's a secret. I think the concert might be canceled."

When Lee Su-ji expressed her anticipation, Kai shook his hand firmly to respond. Tak Jae-hoon said, "Kai, I don't usually say this, but let me do you a favor," and Lee Sang-min added, "Just close your eyes once." Kai said, "I'll say just one thing. I'm also entering the contract renewal season soon." Tak Jae-hoon replied, "Then shouldn't we help you with the renewal?"

Afterward, Tak Jae-hoon asked Kai, "How many EXO members are there besides you?" Kai answered, "Right now? Five." Tak Jae-hoon responded, "Then we just need to persuade those five, right?"

EXO debuted as a 12-member group, but three Chinese members left, reorganizing it into a nine-member group. Later, due to exclusive contract issues with the subunit group ChenBaekXi (Xiumin, Baekhyun, Chen), the three members did not participate in group activities, and EXO has continued activities as a six-member group.
