On the April 28th broadcast of MBC FM4U's "Noon Hope Song with Kim Shin-young," Kim Jae-hwan appeared as a guest and talked with Kim Shin-young about dieting.
That day, Kim Shin-young mentioned Kim Jae-hwan's change in appearance after completing his military service, saying, "He was discharged from the military, and there's a certain masculinity flowing, but he also looks a bit younger." Kim Jae-hwan responded with a disciplined attitude, saying, "The military water hasn't fully drained yet," which brought laughter.
Kim Shin-young revealed that Kim Jae-hwan appeared on "Noon Hope Song" for the first time in five years and said it seemed like he had lost more weight after his military service. She added, "I feel like you've returned to the image I saw on TV before your debut. Isn't that nice?"
Regarding dieting, when Kim Shin-young asked, "Which is harder, diet or exercise?" Kim Jae-hwan answered that exercise was harder. He said, "Exercise was harder for me. I could manage the diet. Usually, people struggle more with dieting. I eat chicken breast and carbohydrates. That's tasty. On weekdays, if I don't eat like that, it actually feels uncomfortable."
To this, Kim Shin-young added, "If you overcome that just once or twice, you'll gain weight again," adding more laughter to the scene.
