The group Wanna One has reunited for a reality program after 7 years. The Mnet Plus original reality show "WANNA ONE GO: Back to Base" will premiere on the 28th at 6 PM. It will also air on Mnet at 8 PM on the same day.
In the first episode of this season, the behind-the-scenes of the opening ceremony D-day and Wanna One's entry into the "Wanna Base" will be featured. The behind-the-scenes footage of the "Opening Ceremony" held on the 6th in Sangam-dong reveals the waiting room atmosphere of the members who gathered after a long time, the excitement and tension of meeting Wannables again after 7 years, and the emotional changes leading up to the moment they take the stage.
This season introduces an upgraded hideout called "Wanna Base." Individual rooms reflecting each member's preferences and personality are decorated with more elaborate concepts than before, and the season's key feature, the giant gacha "Eurat Gatcha," makes its debut. This device can be used 11 times a day and is expected to lead the members into unpredictable situations through random capsules.
The members' unchanged chemistry is also noteworthy. Park Woojin said, "I think we're past the age of playing with those (toys)," but in reality, he showed that he enjoys the toys more sincerely than anyone else, reportedly turning the set into a sea of laughter.
In the teaser video released before the broadcast, the members are seen crying together, and renowned South Korean director Jang Hangjun appears, making the members become respectful. The video also includes scenes of unexpected behavior with the comment, "The members all go crazy."
