Cravity (Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, Sungmin) shared their thoughts ahead of their military hiatus.
Cravity recently held a roundtable interview at Starship Entertainment's headquarters in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to commemorate the release of their eighth mini-album, ReDeFINE. They said this album holds great significance for both Cravity and their agency, Starship Entertainment, as their contract renewal period is approaching and some members are scheduled to enlist in the military.
Wonjin said, "It's something we inevitably have to think about. If there's a strength unique to our team, it's that we try not to dwell on the future, which may now be near but is still the future. We focus on the present and on coming together day by day. Despite issues like contract renewal and military enlistment, we were able to focus on our comeback because we motivate each other, and above all, because we have fans who wait for us and always send us love. Rather than worrying about the future, this gives us the drive to focus on and work hard for our comeback right now." He expressed his gratitude to the fans.
Hyeongjun spoke about the changes after his military discharge, saying, "I think we'll become cooler and sexier after finishing our military service. This year marks our seventh year since debut, and I sometimes watch videos from our early days; we've changed a lot since then. After the military, we'll mostly be in our 30s. Thinking about that, while our 20s are fresh and youthful, I believe we'll show a different side in our 30s, so I want to make good memories."
Additionally, Cravity revealed that the members are discussing what they can do for their fans during their military hiatus. Hyeongjun added, "Since there are many members, when one enlists at a time, it inevitably takes a long time before we can see the full group again. We haven't had deep talks with the company yet, but among ourselves, we're slowly starting to think about how to shorten the military hiatus and what we can do for the fans who will be waiting. If the contract renewal is successfully completed, I think we'll have detailed discussions with the company afterward."
Meanwhile, Cravity's eighth mini-album, ReDeFINE, will be released on the 29th at 6 p.m. through various online music sites.
