Former announcer couple Bae Sung-jae and Kim Da-young will appear together on SBS's "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny" to reveal their newlywed life.

The two were senior and junior announcers at SBS but did not have a direct connection due to different working periods and first met through the SBS variety show "Kick a Goal". At that time, Kim Da-young was a player for FC Anaconda, and Bae Sung-jae was working as a caster. After dating for two years, they overcame a 14-year age gap and got married in May 2025. They skipped a wedding ceremony and became legally married by filing a marriage registration after having a family meal together.

The preview for "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2" showed the couple being affectionate on the bed, revealing a newlywed atmosphere. Scenes expressing their love, such as hugging throughout the house, were also included. However, moments of them going to separate rooms to spend personal time were also shown. Bae Sung-jae was seen playing games alone, while Kim Da-young enjoyed exercising and tea in the living room, highlighting their separate lifestyles. The preview video featured the caption, "Living apart under one roof after just one year of marriage?"

In an interview, Kim Da-young said, "People usually think we must be having a stable married life. But something strange seems to happen every night at our house. I have a strong suspicion, but no physical evidence or proof." Additionally, a scene capturing someone entering their newlywed home sparked curiosity. The production team added the explanation, "A suspicious intruder who breaks the peace of the newlywed home, sneaking in every night under the cover of darkness."

The episode of "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2" featuring Bae Sung-jae and Kim Da-young is scheduled to air on May 5.
