Park Jihoon, comeback after 3 years... first single 'RE:FLECT' to be released on April 29

Park Jihoon returns as a singer with his first single album in three years, 'RE:FLECT.'

The album will be released on various music platforms at 6 p.m. on April 29. This marks Park Jihoon's first new release as a singer since his seventh mini-album, 'Blank or Black,' which came out in April 2023. During this time, Park Jihoon has been actively working as an actor, starring in the 'Weak Hero' series and playing the role of Danjong in the film 'The Man Who Lived with the King,' which attracted over 16 million viewers.

'RE:FLECT' captures the process of revisiting past times and the emotions left within them, reflecting on the present self. The album expresses a variety of emotional textures, from unfamiliar feelings that seep into everyday life to memories that remain over time, all conveyed through Park Jihoon's delicate sensibility. The title track, 'Bodyelse,' is a medium-tempo pop dance song blending dreamy synthesizers with emotional guitar riffs, depicting the moment of realizing that the strange feeling that began in familiar daily life was ultimately 'you.' The song features a comfortable yet addictive chorus.

The album also includes 'Watercolor,' which expresses emotions spreading like watercolor with refreshing sounds, and 'I can't hold your hand anymore,' a pop ballad highlighted by acoustic guitar and a calm vocal tone. The three tracks in this album capture different emotional textures while organically connecting within a single flow.

Agency YY Entertainment stated, "Through this album, Park Jihoon will fully showcase the musical reflections he has steadily built up and his more mature side as an artist."
