BTS Jungkook has surpassed 20 million followers on his personal Instagram account.

Jungkook opened a new Instagram account last July, and in about nine months, his total followers exceeded 20 million. He began actively uploading posts starting in February of this year.

The "Hooligan" challenge video Jungkook posted on the 22nd reached 100 million views in just four days. Among the 10 posts, five videos have surpassed 50 million views. The "Hooligan" challenge video recorded over 2 million reposts within two days of its release and ranked as the third most shared post on Instagram. Lionel Messi is first with 2.6 million, and Taylor Swift is second with 2.5 million.

Jungkook's follower count of 20 million shows a significant gap compared to Lionel Messi (500 million) and Taylor Swift (280 million). Previously, Jungkook deleted his personal Instagram account, which had 52.4 million followers in 2023. Additionally, Jungkook's personal account on the global short video platform TikTok recently surpassed 29 million followers.
