EPEX is scheduled to release their seventh mini-album, "SOHWA (韶華) : Epilogue," in June. This album marks the conclusion of the "SOHWA" series, which has continued for over two years and two months.

EPEX (Wish, Mu, Amin, Baekseung, Aiden, Yewang, Jeff) completed a trilogy of full-length albums starting with their first studio album "SOHWA Chapter 1: Youth Period" in April 2024, followed by the second album "SOHWA Chapter 2: Youth Deficiency," and the third album "SOHWA Chapter 3: Romantic Youth." "SOHWA: Epilogue" is the mini-album that concludes this series.

At midnight on the 29th, EPEX revealed a poster image announcing their comeback through their official SNS. The poster is a completed version that connects the spring landscapes used on the covers of the previous SOHWA series physical albums into one. It was created in watercolor by illustrator Knysh Ksenya, who is active mainly in Moscow, Russia.

Since their debut in 2021, EPEX has conveyed realistic emotions and stories such as boys' anxieties and love, the deficiencies and romance of youth through their music. Last year, they showcased a lyrical yet refreshing musical style with the title track "Thank You So Much It Makes Me Cry" from their third studio album, and received acclaim from domestic and international listeners with the new song "so nice," a collaboration with the American retro synth-pop duo joan.

They also successfully completed their 2025 fan-con tour "ROMANTIC YOUTH" in Seoul, Tokyo, and Macau, and met local fans at the Japanese fan club "Zenith Japan" 2nd anniversary party, "ZENITH JAPAN 2nd ANNIVERSARY PARTY." In June this year, alongside their comeback, they are scheduled to appear on "MyK LIVE" at the "2026 MyK FESTA," and in August, they plan to perform at the Eastern European K-pop festival "KBK FEST."
