Barming Tiger releases pre-release single 'Home'... Ahead of full-length album 2 'Gongbu' on May 19

Barming Tiger released the pre-release single "Home" on the 28th ahead of their second full-length album, "Gongbu."

"Home" is the first pre-release track from the album "Gongbu," featuring a psychedelic and retro band sound infused with the atmosphere of Korea and East Asia. Barming Tiger members bj wnjn, sogumm, Mudd the student, Lee Soo-ho(Leesuho), and San Yawn expressed the concept of home through music, each reflecting their own perspective.

This album is planned as a project where sound design, visuals, identity, music video direction, and live performance are connected within a single universe. It unfolds around the story of a fictional research lab called "Gongbu Korea," which observes and records human dreams and the unconscious through experimental technology.

The album cover for "Home" features the former main building of Jeju National University, designed by the late architect Kim Chung-up. This now-demolished building is reinterpreted as the "Gongbu Korea" research lab within the album's universe.

The music video was produced in the form of a black comedy inspired by the traditional Korean wedding culture "Hamjinabi," co-directed by Barming Tiger members Jan' Qui and San Yawn. The video is set inside the dream of sogumm, a test subject of "Gongbu Korea," directly expressing the album's core keyword, "dream." This music video reveals for the first time the space and characters that serve as the starting point of the universe.

Barming Tiger is set to release their second full-length album, "Gongbu," on May 19.
