Hwang Minho, a singer affiliated with Choi Lab, took on the role of the eldest brother in tvN's "Ensemble," embarking on a new challenge.

In the episode of "Ensemble" aired on the 28th, Hwang Minho challenged himself to play the janggu in the choir song "Snail." It was his first time playing the janggu in a genre other than trot, and he confessed his difficulty, saying, "Is it right for my janggu to be part of this beautiful song?"

Hwang Minho revealed that he is outgoing on stage but introverted off stage. He said that even during practice, he couldn't approach his friends first and only watched. During a consultation with music director Kim Moon-jung, he shared his concern, "My heart wants to go, but my body doesn't," and Director Kim gave him the assignment to talk with three friends. Afterward, Hwang Minho gathered his resolve and made efforts to close the distance with the members.

Showing leadership as the eldest brother, Hwang Minho invited the performance team members Byeori and Kobi to his home to practice together, suggesting, "The three of us have never synchronized before, so let's get it right today." He said, "As I became a middle schooler, I slowly stopped being the youngest. I was always the youngest when going to performances, but now I have younger siblings. In 'Ensemble,' I am the eldest brother. It's actually my first time experiencing this."

After getting closer by showing the members around his house and enjoying a "room fashion show," Hwang Minho immediately started special training and focused on practice. Especially for Kobi, who struggled with the fast tempo, he did not hold back his encouragement and synchronized perfectly until the end.
