Kang Jun-kyu will appear in the TVING original drama "Becoming a Legendary Cook."

"Becoming a Legendary Cook" is a military cooking fantasy drama depicting the growth of Private Kang Seong-jae into a legendary cook. The script is by Choi Ryong, directed by Jo Nam-hyung, produced by Studio Dragon and Studio N, and provided by TVING.

Kang Jun-kyu plays Sergeant Joo Sang-wook, a senior in the same outpost barracks as the protagonist Kang Seong-jae (played by Park Ji-hoon). Joo Sang-wook is portrayed as a character full of humanity and friendliness, relatable to everyone.

Kang Jun-kyu has built his filmography by appearing in various works starting with the web drama "Beauty 101," including "Shooting Star," "Each Their Own Circumstances," "Race," "Men and Women," "Your Taste," and "God and the Law Office."

"Becoming a Legendary Cook" will premiere on May 11 (Monday) at 8:50 PM on TVING and tvN.
