Daehwi Lee revealed behind-the-scenes stories related to Wanna One's reunion.

Appearing on MBC's "Radio Star," Daehwi Lee talked about the process of Wanna One's reunion. He explained that this reunion was led by Hwang Minhyun and Ha Sungwoon, and that Kang Daniel could not join due to military service, while Lai Kuanlin did not participate because of retirement. Regarding Lai Kuanlin, he said, "He left the entertainment industry to become a film director. He found his dream and is very happy. He joined a major production company and is working on projects."

Ahead of Wanna One's full-group comeback, Daehwi Lee commented on the situation where the movie "A Man Who Lives with the King," starring Park Jihoon, recorded 16 million viewers, saying, "We are currently a bit happy. We see tremendous hope," and added, "I love you, Jihoon hyung." He also revealed, "We plan to test the waters and start with a reality program," which brought laughter.

Regarding the reality program filming, Daehwi Lee said, "Actually, the talk about the reality show came up before 'A Man Who Lives with the King' blew up. We were very lucky to have a 16 million viewer actor selected," and added, "I believe this is the will of heaven, so we had to push forward." During the reality filming, Park Jihoon shared the news of the movie release, and the scene of going to the production presentation helped promote Wanna One as well.

When Kim Gura asked about Kang Daniel's military service, "Couldn't you wait for Kang Daniel's military service?" Daehwi Lee replied, "Kang Daniel is scheduled to be discharged in August next year. Still, he participated in the first shoot," and added, "Because of Danjong, we had to do it now." The MCs responded, "If it's because of Danjong, then going now is right," and "It should be done even tomorrow."

Daehwi Lee also said, "Now a generation that doesn't know Wanna One has come, and these days, elementary school students don't know who I am." He mentioned that Park Jihoon often says "Saved in my heart" at movie events, and although it's not easy for actors to do that in front of many people, the good response encourages him to continue. He especially showed the foot turning, which the members appreciated.

Recently, Daehwi Lee said that they roamed around the Sangam-dong area wearing school uniforms as the full Wanna One group, and many people said they looked like frozen humans. He added that the eldest member, Yoon Jisung, born in 1991, managed himself well and received a warm response.
