Singer WOODS and Black Pink Jennie revealed their long-standing friendship. On April 29, WOODS uploaded a video titled "Dating Jennie on Purpose" on his YouTube channel, inviting Jennie as a guest.

In the video, the two reminisced about the past while shopping together. WOODS said about their first meeting, "It was during a high school festival when I was a trainee and Jennie was a very famous trainee. We happened to meet and greet each other at the school festival." Jennie laughed and said, "I don't remember well." They later continued their connection while training at the same company.

WOODS revealed, "We became close decisively about 10 or 11 years ago," and Jennie mentioned WOODS's real name, Jo Seung-yeon, saying, "(Jo) Seung-yeon told me, 'Play with me, play with me. I wish I had a fun friend like you.'" The two also revealed that they attended the same elementary school, showing their deep bond. Jennie added, "That's right. Our story runs deep."

In the video, WOODS mentioned Jennie's usual taste, saying, "Are you buying tracksuits again? Don't you usually only buy tracksuits?" Jennie replied familiarly, "You know me." Jennie said, "It's very fun since the camera is here," and WOODS shared his feelings, saying, "It's very awkward."
