A school band formed through Mnet's global band-making project 'Steelheart Club' is preparing for an official debut.
On the 30th, Kakao Entertainment announced that the school band, consisting of vocalist Lee Yoon-chan, guitarist Kim Gun-woo, drummer Kim Eun-chan, bassist Jung Eun-chan, and keyboardist Kim Kyung-wook, has begun full-scale preparations aiming for an official debut within this year.
This team first met as members of the band club during the first round club audition of 'Steelheart Club' and performed QWER's 'Addicted to Worry,' receiving a unanimous '4 hearts' rating. After the broadcast, viewers continued to support the official debut of this combination, and although the members did not rank first in their respective positions, they consistently received positive reviews for their skills.
Based on the bright and energetic musical style and teamwork shown on the program, the school band plans to present a highly polished band sound. The debut promotions will be released sequentially.
Meanwhile, the global band hrtz.wav, formed by the first-place members in each position from last year's 'Steelheart Club,' debuted on the 8th and is gaining attention both domestically and internationally with their debut song 'NINETEEN' and first mini-album 'The First Wave.' hrtz.wav is attracting global fans with their ensemble skills and live performances, maintaining buzz as a rookie band through various content and festival stages.
