Seventeen member The8 will release his self-composed song "不见了 (Love is gone)" on various music platforms at 1 a.m. on May 1.
This new song features lyrics written and composed by The8 himself, expressing the emotions of a breakup with the rough and exaggerated texture of the hyper-pop genre. With unrefined emotional lines and raw vocals, it captures the inner cracks and afterimages following a separation from a loved one.
Earlier this month, The8 also released his self-composed song "四月的漂流 (April Drift)." This track metaphorically portrays the process of love and breakup through the seasons and ranked high on real-time search keywords on Chinese SNS and major local music charts upon release.
In addition to his solo activities, The8 is scheduled to perform for two consecutive days at the "MIDOU (咪豆/Mido) MUSIC FESTIVAL" held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, from May 1 to 2.
Seventeen recently successfully completed the group tour "SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]" with an audience of over 900,000 people. They will hold fan meetings at Tokyo Dome on May 13–14 and Kyocera Dome Osaka on May 23–24. Following that, they plan to host the "2026 SVT FAN MEETING 'SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND'" at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on June 20–21.
