BTS, All Seats Sold Out for Two Performances at Busan Asiad Arena...Special Stage on June 13th Debut Anniversary

BTS's world tour "ARIRANG" concert in Busan, held at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium from June 12 to 13, has sold out all tickets.

According to their agency Big Hit Music, all tickets for the second show were sold out through the FC membership pre-sale on NOL Ticket on the 29th. Following the complete sell-out of all three shows in Goyang, the first tour location, tickets for Japan, North America, and Europe were also fully sold.

This is BTS's first performance at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium in 3 years and 8 months since the October 2022 "2030 Busan World Expo Bid Concert 'Yet to Come in BUSAN'." This venue was where they held their last full-group performance before military enlistment, and June 13, the second day of the Busan concert, is also the group's debut anniversary.

To commemorate the concert, BTS will carry out a large-scale city project called "BTS THE CITY ARIRANG" throughout Busan from June 5 to 21. This project projects the group's music and narrative onto urban spaces, turning the entire city into a cultural hub. It began in Seoul in March with the release of their fifth studio album "ARIRANG" and has expanded to Las Vegas and Busan. Big Hit Music stated, "We plan to offer a differentiated experience where the entire city can be enjoyed like a theme park."

Due to the overseas tour, BTS's songs have also stood out on Japan's Oricon charts. On the 30th, Oricon announced the "Weekly Streaming Rising Ranking" (for the week of May 4), where the 2017 Japanese single album 8 track "Crystal Snow" ranked first, and "MIC Drop," released the same year, ranked eighth. This was the result of "Crystal Snow" being performed as an impromptu stage rather than an official setlist at the Tokyo Dome concerts on May 17-18, drawing attention and re-entering the charts about nine years after its release.

Meanwhile, BTS will continue their tour performances at the Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso on May 2-3. The El Paso County Commission in Texas awarded BTS the "Estimado Amigo" award and approved a resolution declaring the concert period as "El Paso BTS Weekend." It is expected that this concert will generate an economic ripple effect of approximately 110.5 billion KRW locally.
