Singer Hong Ji-yoon appeared on KBS 2TV variety show "Malja Show" and revealed her honest feelings.

Hong Ji-yoon, affiliated with Choi Lab (CEO Choi Se-nkyu), appeared on the broadcast of "Malja Show" aired on the 4th under the title "Brought a Bombshell Confession Ji-yoon," sharing her worries and sincerity. She stated, "As an avid viewer of 'Malja Show,' I have gained great comfort and empathy from watching the program and really wanted to appear on it," adding, "Since it is a stage coveted by many trot singers, I overcame fierce competition to finally stand here."

On the broadcast, Hong Ji-yoon directly addressed the "gold spoon theory." She said, "There is something I want to clarify clearly to my colleagues," explaining, "There are rumors that I donate because of great wealth and that I do trot as a hobby, leading to misunderstandings that I am a gold spoon, but this is not true at all." She continued, "If I could, I would show my bank account balance to clear up the misunderstanding, but I am an ordinary 'penniless' person. If anything, I am just an 'ordinary plastic spoon.'"

Hong Ji-yoon also expressed gratitude to MC Kim Young-hee. She said, "During difficult times in the past, I found great comfort watching 'Malja Show,'" adding, "Especially, senior Kim Young-hee's famous saying, 'When walking through the dung field falling to minus 100, standing still made the ground fertile and became natural fertilizer,' became a strong support that helped me endure. I really wanted to express my thanks directly." In response, Kim Young-hee encouraged her by saying, "Plastic spoons are the most frequently used and useful spoons in everyday life."

Additionally, Hong Ji-yoon mentioned her target ratings, saying, "I heard that senior Park Gun, who appeared earlier, recorded the highest viewership rating of 3.1%. Today, I will do my best to surpass the 4% mark."
