The music video teaser for the title track "Suddenly" from the mini 3rd album "I.O.I : LOOP," released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the group I.O.I, is drawing attention for a same-sex kiss scene between members Jeon Somi and Kim Doyeon.

In the teaser video released at midnight on the 6th through I.O.I's official channel, Jeon Somi approaches Kim Doyeon, who is leaning against a wall, and kisses her. This is followed by Kim Doyeon sitting down as if surprised, while Jeon Somi leaves the scene, adding a dramatic atmosphere.

On the same day, Kim Doyeon shared the behind-the-scenes story of the scene through a fan communication platform and the official fan community. Kim Doyeon explained, "You might not believe it, but this was my idea," adding that the original plan was a cute cheek slap, but she suggested changing it to a kiss. She also revealed about the filming process, "There were many takes," and described the atmosphere on set by saying, "We were not embarrassed. They went all out."

I.O.I is a project group formed through Mnet's "Produce 101" Season 1 in 2016, consisting of 11 trainees from different agencies who debuted together. They gained great popularity with debut songs like "Dream Girls" and "Very Very Very," and officially disbanded after their contract ended in 2017. Since then, the members have pursued various activities as solo artists, actors, and in other groups.

This 10th-anniversary activity is proceeding with nine members, excluding Kang Mina and Zhou Jieqiong. I.O.I will release the mini 3rd album "I.O.I : LOOP" on the 19th and start the 10th-anniversary concert tour "2026 I.O.I Concert Tour : LOOP" at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul. Some members are also appearing on variety shows such as SBS's "No, But Really!" and MBC's "Radio Star" to share updates.

Meanwhile, Jeon Somi revealed on "Radio Star" that there had been previous attempts to reunite the group that did not come to fruition, but this time, if practice schedules are set, she will not schedule personal activities.
