Girls' Generation's Sooyoung revealed a moment when she felt grateful to her members on 'You Quiz on the Block.'

On the episode of tvN variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' aired on the 6th, Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung appeared and shared various stories. That day, Sooyoung shared an anecdote related to her father and expressed gratitude for the members' warm consideration. Sooyoung said, "My father became the chairman of the campaign to eradicate blindness and is managing it. Whenever there were offers for sponsorship or volunteering, I went alone."

She continued, "One day Yuri said, 'Since your dad is doing such a good thing, why didn't you tell us?'" She revealed that this led Yuri to make a donation, and other members have been continuously donating as well. Sooyoung added, "It felt like they were sharing the family's burden, so I was even more thankful."

Sooyoung explained that her father suffers from retinitis pigmentosa, has had the disease for about 15 years, and is now almost blind. She also mentioned that new research related to the disease has recently begun. Sooyoung said, "Yuri was the first to say, 'If we can help with your dad's work, let's do it together,'" and added, "It was nice to have someone who understands without me having to say anything."

Yuri said, "It seems like we naturally take care of not only work but also family matters and personal issues," and revealed that the support she received from the members made her stronger. She added, "When that strength really grows like a snowball and I feel they support me tremendously, I think no task would be difficult."
