EXO LAY has once again proved his top popularity in China by sweeping the year-end awards ceremony in China.
LAY won three awards at the Tencent Music Entertainment Awards 2019 held at the Cotai Arena in Macau on Dec. 8, winning awards for "Best Singer," "The Most Popular Chinese Mainland Male Artist of the Year" and "Best Digital Album of the Year."
At the ceremony hosted by China's largest music platform, Tencent Music Entertainment, LAY was the only three-time winner to win the most awards, as well as hit songs such as "SHEEP," "Lay U Down" and "Honey," which heated up the scene with strong performances.
LAY also won two gold medals at the "2020 iQiyi Sounding Night" at Beijing's Cadillac Arena on December 6, winning the "Asia All-around Artist" and "Music Producer of the Year."
Celebrating its sixth anniversary this year, "2020 iQiyi Sound Night" is a renowned award ceremony organized by Chinese video platform iQiyi, and LAY even won explosive acclaim by brilliantly decorating the opening stage with his hit song "NAMANANA" prior to winning the award.
Meanwhile, LAY is making his first solo concert tour 'Age of Discovery.'
