The world-class boy group BTS received the second 'Platinum Album' certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The RIAA officially announced that BTS' 4th full album 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7', released in February through the official website on November 17th (local time), has been certified as 'Platinum' as of November 16th.

With this, BTS will have the second RIAA Platinum certification record in the album category this year, following the repackaged album LOVE YOURSELF 結'Answer' (released in August 2018), which was certified as of January 16.
